4th Friday

Every 4th Friday – May to November – 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Live music, great shops, good restaurants, and lots of fun. Come stroll along Broadway and take an ole fashion carriage ride.

8th Annual Bob Riccio Memorial Tour de Pitman

June 10th, 2017, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

Uptown Pitman will host its 7th Annual Bob Riccio Memorial Tour de Pitman, along with two other competitive bicycle races, beginning at 9 am – 2 pm. The Caffeinated Cyclist, a professional cycling shop in Pitman, along with Uptown Pitman’s Chamber of Commerce, will host as the town brings out cyclists from all over the region to compete in a number of heats around the 3-mile loop. During the race, the town has a Family Fun Day with food vendors and bouncey house!

14th Annual Car & Cycle Show – United Methodist Communities

June 17th, 2017, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Families are welcome to attend our 14th Annual Car and Cycle Show. Approximately 100 cars and motorcycles will be on display, there will also be music and food to purchase. The event is free to attend.

Craft Shows

The Spring and Fall Pitman Craft Shows have been a town tradition for more than 30 years. The festivals boast more than 200 crafters, all displaying their handmade wares, and attracts upwards of 10,000 shoppers.  The shows are held in the main corridors of Pitman, along Broadway and Pitman Ave., in the heart of Uptown Pitman. Shoppers will find many seasonal items. Vendors at both shows sell a variety of crafts, ranging from jewelry to florals, wood crafts and hand sewn items, fresh foods from vendors and Pitman’s own eateries, and much much more. Many of the local non-profits also participate in the festival to support their fundraisers, truly making this a community affair. Come experience fun this Pitman tradition!

July 4th parade

One of the longest running traditions in South Jersey!  Celebrate the holiday with countless fire trucks, marching bands, beauty contest winners, kid’s decorated bike contest and numerous floats from community organizations.
